WOMEN'S MARCH
On January 20, 2017, over thousands of people poured down the streets of New York City for the Women's March demonstration. On the days following the presidential inauguration of Donald J. Trump, protesters shared their views about both the new U.S. president and issues of sexual inequality through thousands of bright banners and chants.
A year later, the streets around the world once again filled with countless protesters. The march was an array of both women's rights activists and anti-Trump supporters.
I covered them both in New York City.
